IB Curriculum

Adab is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School authorised by the IB Organisation in 2017 to offer the Diploma Programme (DP). The IB is a global leader in international education—developing inquiring, knowledgeable, confident, and caring young people. The IB programmes empower school-aged students to take ownership in their own learning and help them develop future-ready skills to make a difference and thrive in a world that changes fast.

What is the DP?

The Diploma Programme (DP) is a future-ready programme that builds students’ inquiring mindset, fosters their desire to learn, and prepares them to excel at their careers and lead meaningful lives.

Research suggests that there are many benefits to choosing the DP. The programme aims to develop students who have excellent breadth and depth of knowledge – students who flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally and ethically.

The DP is recognized and respected by the world’s leading universities, and evidence suggests that higher rates of DP students go on to university and higher education study than non-IB students.
